Work on the St. Anthony of Padua adit was carried out in 1753 and 1754. Contemporary reports state that "they found an old work 22 láter (about 40 metres) deep, and as no promising vein was immediately seen, they abandoned the work." The adit was then inaccessible for more than 250 years.
The church is the oldest building in the town and was built in place of a small wooden church consecrated to Sv. Mikuláš in the first half of the 13th century. From the 13th century, the church was complemented by a vicarage and Oldřich of Sulzbach was the first priest there.
The museum is housed in a historic building called "Coin" in the lower part of the Jihlava square. The Gothic house served as a mining office until 1420, where the royal minster collected taxes in gold from miners and also bought gold for the needs of the monarch.
The St. Joseph Adit is one of the many mine workings in an important part of the Jihlava gold-bearing district - the Kocourské vein zone.
The railway viaduct Žampach under Jílovým is a technical unique. It is the highest stone bridge built on local railways in Bohemia. It arches over the Kocour Valley at a height of 41.5 m (for comparison, the Nusel Bridge is 42.5 m). Its total length is 110 m. Interesting is the longitudinal axis of the bridge, which is formed by an arch with a radius of 180 m, the individual arches have a clearance of 12 m.
